The following provides you with the new licensing guildlines for the State of Washington. Effective July 1, 2010 RCW 18.85.011 became law and the new license requirements are provided below:

Persons seeking to receive their broker's license:

60 clock hour Real Estate Fundamentals

30 clock hour Practices

Persons currenlty licensed as a broker, renewing for the 1st time after July 1, 2010:

Practices 30 clock hours
-
CORE 3 clock hours
-
27 clock hours of an elective course
-
Transition course 3 clock hours
-

Persons currently licensed as a Broker or Managing Broker looking to renew their license and recieve continuing education credit:

CORE 3 clock hours

27 hours of an elective course

Transition Course 3 clock hours

Persons who are licensed after July 1, 2010 and wish to renew for the 1st time:

Advanced Practices 30 clock hours

Real Estate Law 30 clock hours

27 hours of an elective course

CORE 3 clock hours

Total of 90 clock hours ( this package not offered until April 15, 2011 )

Person seeking to take the Managing Broker license exam after July 1, 2011 must have held a Broker license for 3 years:
